Nagarkot tour is located 32 km east of the Kathmandu valley in the hilltop at an altitude of 2175m from the sea level is one the best scenic spots in the country. It is the second highest point in the valley, which is famous for the sunrise and sunset view in the Himalayas. It offers the breathtaking views of Khumbu ranges, Langtang ranges, Dorje Lakpa, Manaslu range, Ganesh Himal, Gaurishankar, Mt. Everest, Nagarkot is surrounded by thickly forested hills of pine trees. Away from the busy and the concrete jungle of the capital city, this is a sweet escape into nature where only wind and the rustling sound of leaves disturb you. One can also see the excellent view of the Indrawati River valley in the east and view of Kathmandu valley in the west from Nagarkot.
